Robert McKee International Screenwriting Scholarship in United Kingdom, 2018

The Regent’s University London is inviting international applications for Robert McKee International Screenwriting Scholarships 2018 intake.

To apply, students must be holding an offer from Regent’s University London at the time the competition closes.

 

 

Scholarships Number and Award:

£7,000 towards fees for one standard programme duration.

 

Education Level & Subject:

Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme in Screenwriting & Producing.

 

Eligibility:

-Citizens of all nationalities are eligible to apply.

-This scholarship is awarded through competition. To apply, you must be holding an offer from Regent’s University London at the time the competition closes.

-If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

 

Required Documents:

Please submit a short drama script, of up to 5 minutes in length and a 1,000-word statement answering the following question: ‘Why would being a Robert McKee International Screenwriting scholar be important to you?’

 

How to Apply:

Please email your short drama script and statement to: scholarships@regents.ac.uk

If shortlisted, you will be invited to interview (face-to-face or Skype) with members of the Film, Media & Performance team at Regent’s. You will be asked to discuss your short drama script and points from your statement, as well as answer other interview questions.
